With a Master of Work Treatment (MOT) masters degree in occupational therapy from Nebraska Methodist University, you're empowered to equip clients with important tools that improve their lifestyle, even despite barriers. This 2.5 year program concentrates on the method of occupational therapy, stressing the use of prior skills and expertise to boost the performance of OT technique and the development of sophisticated adult understanding abilities for ongoing professional development.

The program is created to build on your previous studies with the concepts of occupational treatment method and see you establish the interdisciplinary understanding and professional skills needed to exercise as an OT. You'll embark on a series of research-focused training courses and complete advanced training in clinical thinking and health and wellness research, furthering your understanding of the function of evidence in work-related treatment practice.

A bachelor's degree (or equal) and have finished university-level research studies in human composition, human physiology, and initial psychology. Residential pupils who are accepted into the Master of Work Therapy Researches pay tuition fees. The Master of Occupational Therapy Studies is approved by the Job-related Therapy Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) and accepted by the Occupational Treatment Board of Australia (OTBA).

The Australian Government has approved this master's program for earnings assistance repayments to be made to eligible pupils. Throughout the program, you'll embark on more than 1000 hours of supervised clinical placements in UQ's Occupational Therapy Centers situated at the St Lucia university and in medical facilities, colleges and other healthcare organisations.
