The man in his 50s claimed the prize money at the Lotterywest office on Monday.
'On Saturday I woke up feeling funny and with itchy palms, so I decided to take this as a sign to go and treat myself to a scratchie ticket,' the man said.
The couple intend to spend some of their fortune on a trip to Bali to celebrate the New Year.
Last month, a father from the Northern Rivers in NSW took out $1million in prize money just days before Christmas after he picked the winning numbers in the Weekly Windfall draw.
The father was left in tears after he received a call from The Lott informing him that he had become an overnight millionaire.
'Thank you, lord. This is the biggest blessing. I'm crying,' he said.
'This is the best Christmas present ever... in my entire life!'
