With a Master of Work-related Therapy (MOT) masters degree in occupational therapy from Nebraska Methodist College, you're empowered to equip individuals with essential tools that boost their quality of life, even when faced with challenges. This 2.5 year program concentrates on the method of work-related treatment, emphasising the use of prior abilities and expertise to enhance the efficiency of OT technique and the growth of advanced adult learning skills for recurring expert development.

The program is developed to build on your previous research studies with the principles of work treatment method and see you establish the interdisciplinary understanding and specialist skills needed to exercise as an OT. You'll embark on a variety of research-focused courses and total sophisticated training in medical thinking and wellness research, advancing your understanding of the duty of evidence in occupational treatment practice.

A bachelor's level (or equivalent) and have completed university-level research studies in human makeup, human physiology, and initial psychology. Domestic students that are accepted into the Master of Job-related Treatment Researches pay tuition charges. The Master of Occupational Therapy Researches is certified by the Job-related Treatment Council of Australia Ltd (OTC) and approved by the Occupational Treatment Board of Australia (OTBA).

The Australian Federal government has authorized this master's program for income support repayments to be made to qualified trainees. Throughout the program, you'll take on more than 1000 hours of supervised clinical positionings in UQ's Occupational Treatment Facilities situated at the St Lucia school and in healthcare facilities, schools and other health care organisations.
