The Thai airline operates multiple daily flights from Bangkok to Singapore, which is one of three routes its new A350-900XWB flies; the other two are the Bangkok to Rome and Bangkok to Milan routes.

The Thai national flag carrier took delivery of the technologically advanced mid-size long-range commercial aircraft in August 2016, as the latest addition to its fleet of nearly 90 Airbus and Boeing aircrafts. The airline has ordered 12 A350 XWBs - 4 on purchase order and 8 on lease.

Singapore is among the destinations that feature in Thai Airways International or THAI's current Fly Smart with THAI promotion offering airfares from Bangkok to nearly 60 destinations around the world. These fares are valid for ticketing until 15 March 2017 and travel departure must be by 31 March 2017. To Singapore, the Fly Smart With THAI fare is priced from THB 7,275 roundtrip per person in Economy Class and from THB 21,835 roundtrip per person in Business Class.

THAI's A350-900XWB (Xtra-Wide Body) operates flights to Singapore twice daily, with early morning and late afternoon departures from the Thai capital. In the return direction, the Singapore to Bangkok flights depart at mid-day and in the late evening.

Those who find themselves flying to Singapore on the A350-900XWB can look forward to a great start to their trip, with THAI promising a flight experience both more spacious and more comfortable thanks to bigger overhead stowage compartments, larger panoramic windows, superior headroom and "generously proportioned" seats. The contemporary orchid decor designed for the A350-900XWB embodies elegance with distinctive touches of Thai design that are both sophisticated and relaxing.

THAI's Bangkok to Singapore flights can be booked online at website as can be flights throughout the airline's global route network of over 60 destinations in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Such as direct flights from Thailand to Australia, flights from Bangkok to London and flights from Frankfurt to Bangkok. The user can search for great deals on flights to Thailand, book accommodation worldwide, purchase travel insurance and join THAI's customer loyalty program Royal Orchid Plus. Additionally, the user can check out the holiday product on offer from Royal Orchid Holidays.

Anyone visiting Singapore is likely to find themselves at some stage of their trip at the famed Marina Bay, probably sooner rather than later. Overlapping the Financial District, Clarke Quay and central Civic District, Marina Bay is home to a number of the city's top attractions, hotels and various sights and sounds.

The mythical symbol of Singapore and ever popular photo-op the Merlion is here. This half-fish half-lion concrete statue weighs in at 70 tonnes and stands 8.7 metres tall in Merlion Park, near the waterfront. Somewhat taller is the nearby Singapore Flyer, among the world's largest observation wheels at 165 metres high and 150 metres in diameter. A complete rotation of the wheel takes around 30 minutes and affords fantastic views of the surrounding city and waterfront, views which are breathtaking by day and dazzling by night.

Perched atop the awe-inspiring Marina Bay Sands resort complex is Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, another locale that offers magnificent views of Singapore.

The 15,000 square metre Marina Bay Sands Casino offers over 500 gaming tables and 1,600 slot thailand machines and boasts a huge seven-ton chandelier made up of more than 130,000 Swarovski crystals.

Gardens by the Bay is a colourful and futuristic park with giant 50 metre tall manmade tree structures which are impressive by day and at night are beautifully illuminated. A landmark in itself with its lotus flower building design is the ArtScience Museum which has permanent and regularly changing exhibitions and displays on a range of topics.

Outside of Marina Bay, Singapore's other tourist attractions include Clarke Quay and Boat Quay, Universal Studios Singapore, Sentosa Island, Singapore Night Safari, Chinatown, Little India and Orchard Road.

Clarke Quay and Boat Quay are popular dining out and nightlife enclaves, with plenty of restaurants and bars and nitespots to suit many different tastes lined up along the Singapore River.

Universal Studios Singapore offers heaps of fun for all the family, with various themed areas featuring rides and shows such as The Lost World, Ancient Egypt, Hollywood and Far, Far Away (from Shrek). The park is situated on Sentosa, the purpose built island where it's all about leisure and relaxation with beaches, golf, hotels and more.

Singapore Night Safari provides an interesting glimpse into the nocturnal animal kingdom, with some 60 exhibits and 1,000 animals from Asia, Africa and the world over to be seen. It is also a conservation and research centre dedicated to helping improve the lives of animals both in captivity and in the wild.

Chinatown and Little India are among Singapore's most colourful and exciting neighbourhoods. Chinatown is great for shopping and authentic Chinese food, with many restaurants and hawker food vendors serving up an array of delicious treats while Singapore's oldest temple - Thian Hock Keng Temple - is also here, as is the Chinatown Heritage Centre for an insight into Singapore's past. In Little India, exotic aromas drift out of restaurants and shops selling all manner of Indian goods and the bustling Mustafa Centre market is open day and night making this another popular place for shoppers.

Of course, shopping in Singapore isn't shopping in Singapore without a visit to the famous Orchard Road. This busy boulevard is lined on both sides by department stores, boutiques and shops selling just about everything from consumer electronics to fashion wear to houseware. There are also hotels, spas, beauty salons, restaurants and cafes and attractions in the area such as the National Museum of Singapore and Singapore Art Museum.
